Thursday, Day 1, set-up, design basics, troubleshooting and more advanced designs available for the review students. Also, there’s an option to work on a small project if you’re ready. Reversible Quilted Jacket Workshop with Adele Scott – Join us for three days at the 204 Sisson Center in Harwich for an intensive, creative clothing workshop. This multi-day individualized course will give you a personally fitted, quilted jacket [or vest] that’s a one-of-a -kind design you create or just make a simple adult or children’s vest or jacket. Quilted jackets are everywhere this fall so join the trend but make it your own inspired version.
Below is the basic plan for class but your individual situation could change that. The more creative you want to be, the more quilting you might need to do or if the fit needs a lot of "tweaking" it might change.

See an Eastern Screech Owl, Barred Owl, Barn Owl, Great Horned Owl, Eurasian Eagle Owl and Spectacled Owl, plus a mystery raptor! Learn all about the habits and unique adaptations of these incredible raptors of the night. It’ll be a hoot!
Hear travel stories from Mark and Marcia’s cross-country adventures while on a mission to photograph all 19 owl species found in North America for their award-winning book, Owling: Enter the Mysterious World of the Birds of the Night. Then, follow along in a hooting lesson with calls familiar to the local owls of the Cape!

On October 24th the World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will return to the 204 Cultural Arts auditorium for two shows to perform their greatest hit songs including In The Mood, Moonlight Serenade, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, Pennsylvania 6-5000, String of Pearls, Tuxedo Junction, and more classic songs of the swing era. Join their music director Erik Stabnau, vocalists, and the fifteen-member orchestra as they perform this legendary catalogue of big band/swing music just like it was done when Glenn Miller stood in front of his band 80 years ago.

Sewing fun for beginning sewers!
Girls and boys will enjoy sewing and creating with Miss Jane. Held in Studio 109
My sewing school program will introduce your student to the artful science of sewing. This fun and engaging program begins with basic sewing skills and progresses through the foundational techniques for novice sewists.
Stitchology Sewing School is small in-person sewing classes limited to eight students per class at The 204 – Harwich Cultural Center.
Classes are 1.5 hours long held once a week for six-weeks.
